The room began with one chair and an open window. Each afternoon, a different visitor brought a sound worth keeping: rain in a gutter, a loose bicycle bell, a softly closing door.
No two visits sounded alike. Together, their small recordings formed a portrait of a place that was always changing.
This fictional exhibition asks a simple question: what do we hear when we give an ordinary room our full attention?
The answer lives in the pause. A page, a portrait and a little open space can hold it for a moment.
