Process
Three days from wet clay to table.
Each piece passes the same three benches. Nothing leaves the studio without its maker's mark on the foot.
Thrown on the wheel
Every form starts as a centered lump and a steady hand. Walls are pulled thin, then left to firm overnight.
Trimmed and glazed
Feet are carved leather-hard, bisque-fired, then dipped by hand. Drips are kept; they tell you where the glaze pooled.
Fired overnight
The kiln climbs for eleven hours, peaks, and cools until Saturday morning, when the door opens on the new firing.
